Round keys
The round keeetops fit most round key heads (e.g. Kaba or Keso). Please note that the diameter of the key head should not exceed 2,3 cm. Larger key heads can be easily cut to size by any key service.

Square keys
Our Universal keeetop (inside dimensions L: 31 mm, W: 25 mm, H: 3 mm, opening L: 20 mm) fits most common key shapes. Included in the set is the keeetop, a key ring Classic Steel large (KA006), matching inserts as well as a manual.

Safety keys
These keys do not fit flush onto the lock cylinder but are inserted a little way into the cylinder. The keeetop therefore has to be shortened slightly before use (costs approximately CHF 25.-). Only keeetops without a resin, enamel or gemstone design are suitable for this type of keys. We will be pleased to advise you.

Keys with integrated plastic cap
We have developed an adapter for keys with an integrated plastic cap (e.g. Kaba Star or Kaba Elostar). The key's plastic coating can be removed with pliers and the white plastic insert fitted over the key. The keeetop can then be pushed onto the key. If you ever need to return the key, any Kaba specialist will quickly and simply apply a new plastic cap for you. CAUTION when fitting keys with integrated electronics! To ensure that the chip remains functional, the bottom of the keeetop must be shortened slightly (costs approximately CHF 25.-). Only keeetops without a resin, enamel or gemstone design are suitable for this type of keys. We will be pleased to advise you.

The round keeetops can be easily adjusted to ensure that the key fits tightly into the keeetop. Simply remove the key, place the keeetop on a flat surface with the front facing down and carefully press together the opening with your thumb. Alternatively, cut off a piece of ordinary rubber band, place it over the keeetop opening and insert the key (see image).

To fix the keeetop use for example the tip of a key to slightly bend open the key ring. This stops the keeetop from being scratched when attaching it to your bunch of keys. Please ensure that you do not bend open the key ring too far otherwise it will not close again, especially if it is made from stainless steel.

The keeetops with a design on one side can be engraved with up to three lines in italics or block capitals.

The engraving has to be ordered as a separate item from the online shop (last "product" in the item lists or in the "Specials & Sale" section). Depending on the font and number of lines, it is possible to engrave approximately 8 - 10 characters per line. Please ensure you enter the text you wish us to engrave with capitals, punctuation marks and spaces. If your order contains various keeetops with different engraving texts, please use the comment field at the end of the order to instruct us which text should be engraved on which keeetop.

Delivery takes approximately 3 - 4 working days, depending on the size of the engraving. Please contact us if you require express delivery.

Our silver is not rhodium-plated. It may therefore tarnish if not used for long periods. Simply freshen up your piece of jewellery with a silver polishing cloth. A damp cloth cleans even more intensively. You can also use liquid silver polish on heavily tarnished areas. You must always rinse the piece of jewellery thoroughly with water after a silver bath. Caution when using a silver bath: Silver baths destroy the deliberate blackened finish of our pieces of jewellery! You should generally avoid storing silver jewellery in damp conditions.

All our products carry a two-year guarantee. We replace or repair any defective items. Ordinary wear and tear, incorrect storage, tarnished or soiled items and items damaged due to improper handling are excluded from this guarantee.
